Bottega Caruso

Bringing Campanian Traditions to the British Seaside

Nestled in the heart of Margate’s Old Town, Bottega Caruso is more than just a restaurant – it’s a heartfelt homage to the culinary heritage of Campania, Italy. Founded by Simona Di Dio and Harry Ryder, the establishment began as a humble pop up pasta stall and has since blossomed into a beloved restaurant, celebrated for its authentic flavours and beautiful atmosphere.

Celebrating Culinary Passion

Our film aimed to encapsulate the soul of Bottega Caruso: the meticulous hand making of fresh pasta, the rich narratives behind each dish, and the warmth that permeates every corner of the restaurant. Through intimate visuals and storytelling, we showcased signature dishes bursting with colour and highlighting the beauty of traditional Italian Cuisine.

Anamorphic Visuals

We were given the freedom to use Anamorphic Lenses to create a visual aesthetic that simply can’t be matched by regular, spherical lenses. There is something about the combination of these painterly lenses and the gorgeous food captured that makes this one of our most loved films to date.
